I want to apply for an Erasmus Mundus scholarship but I will not receive my final university degree diploma before the application deadline. Can I hand in my diploma later?

Applicants who have obtained a significant portion of their secondary education or their Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree with English as the language of instruction in one of the following countries can be exempted from providing an English language test certificate: Australia, the UK, Ireland, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Iceland, USA, New Zealand, South Africa…

Is there an age, education or any other limits to whom may apply?

There are no maximum limits. Regardless of how much experience, education, or knoweldge an applicant has, if the minimum requirements are met, the application is eligible.Students from all over the world are welcome to apply.

Can I apply if I already hold a Master degree from an Erasmus Mundus Masters Course (EMMC)?

It is only possible to obtain an Erasmus Mundus scholarship for participating in an EMMC or EMJMD once. If you already have been a scholarship holder in an EMMC in the past, you cannot apply for a scholarship for participation in MediaAC. In this case you are still welcome to apply to MediaAC as self-funded…

Can I apply to MediaAC if I already hold a Master degree or higher?

Yes, it is possible to apply.

Is it possible to apply as a part-time or low-residency student?

No, all Erasmus Mundus students must study full-time and participate in the mobilities.

Is it possible to apply for more than one Erasmus Mundus joint master?

Yes, applicants for an Erasmus Mundus scholarship may apply to any other Erasmus+ supported joint master programmes. You are not limited to the number of programmes you may apply for.

What does “sufficient knowledge of English for academic purposes” mean?

To be eligible to apply, applicants must prove they have sufficient knowledge of English for academic purposes in 3 ways: 1. English Certification Test (see list below) 2.
