Academic career

A comprehensive overview of the current state of the video games industry (2017) in relation to culture, business and politics as public policies are a joint result of all these domains.

Chapter one, brings in the cultural and the creative industries discourses leading to considerations about forms of expression that video games entail. Chapter two, stresses the entrepreneurial aspect outlining business practices within the industry. In chapter three, video games’ political incarnations are presented, for video games more and more often enter formal policies agendas.

As the title indicates, special attention is paid to the Polish video games industry that has seen a major spike of interest from country's policy-makers.
