Ina Ciumakova (1986, LT) is currently doing her MA in
Media Arts Cultures as part of Erasmus Mundus Excellence program. She as well was one of the organisers of public creative workshops teaching digital writing skills and creative writing inspired by sound.
Ina is particularly curious about performative artistic practices, experiments and installations engaging with sound, light, film and eventually technologically enhanced human body.
She's interested in how different technologies change the way we touch, hear and see things. Ina reflects on it in a poetic and reflective manner:
Ina is currently working on revision concerning sound and video material for the Sound Art Archive at ZKM in Karlsruhe, Germany.
She has obtained her Bachelor degree in Classical Philosophy at the Vilnius University (2010, LT), later continued with her Master degree in Cultural Studies at the University of Leuven (2016, BE).
In parallel, she assisted several sound artists with artistic production, namely members of iii collective in The Hague (NL) in 2014, participants of SoCCos project at the sound art laboratory Q-02 in Brussels (BE)in 2015/2016.
