English Certification Test (see list below)<\/em><br \/>\n<em>2. Education in an English speaking\/dominant country (see list below)<\/em><br \/>\n3<em>. Employment in an English speaking\/dominant country (see list below)<\/em><\/p>\n<p>If you apply under #1, but cannot submit your test results by the deadline appropriate for your application. The following rules apply:<\/p>\n<p>You must take a TOEFL or IELTS test to be eligible to apply.<br \/>\nIf you will receive your test results AFTER the application deadline, and request the Admissions Board grant you an extension:<\/p>\n<p>* Upload a digital copy of your test date confirmation.<br \/>\nand<br \/>\n* Upload a request to the admissions board.<br \/>\nand<br \/>\n* Submit your test results as soon as possible to mediaac(at)donau-uni.ac.at<\/p>\n<p>Applicants <strong>CANNOT <\/strong>be <em>granted admission<\/em> <strong>without supplying one of the three proofs<\/strong> above.<br \/>\nThere are no exceptions to this rule. This system ensure that all applicants are treated equally and fairly.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>If you apply under #2 or #3, please upload a desccription of your proof. (e.g. see BA transcripts in country XX, please see work documentation from country XX)<\/p>\n<p>\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014<\/p>\n<p><strong>English Certification Tests:<\/strong><br \/>\n(The following tests must be sent directly from the test centre \u2013 code\u00a08773\/Art History):<br \/>\n*TOEFL (PBT paper-based): 550 www.ets.org\/toefl<br \/>\n*TOEFL (CBT computer-based): 230 www.ets.org\/toefl<br \/>\n*TOEFL (iBT internet-based): 80 www.ets.org\/toefl<br \/>\n*Cambridge ESOL: C1 www.cambridgeenglish.org<br \/>\n(Original or verified copy is accepted):<br \/>\n*IELTS (academic test): 6.5 www.ielts.org<br \/>\nNote: We do NOT\u00a0accept scores from\u00a0\u201d<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ets.org\/toefl_itp\/about\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">TOEFL ITP\/institutional testing programme<\/a>\u201c, as this is something different than iBT, CBT or PBT.<br \/>\nPlease also note: An <strong>English language test certificate\u00a0may have expired<\/strong> if it was issued more than 2 years previous. We kindly advise you to check on your certificate.<\/p>\n<p>or<\/p>\n<p>Other acceptable ways of indicating English language proficiency are:<\/p>\n<p>* Proof of a bachelor\u2019s degree or a master\u2019s degree delivered in English from a university in Australia, the UK, Ireland, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Iceland, USA, New Zealand, South Africa or Canada, excluding online degrees, with the applicant having stayed in the respective country when studying for the degree.<\/p>\n<p>*Proof of more than one year of secondary education\u00a0 conducted in English language in either Australia, the UK, Ireland, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Iceland, USA, New Zealand, South Africa or Canada. Applicants may be required to interview in order to check English Proficiency demonstrated above.<\/p>\n<p>*Proof of having been employed in a job requiring english language knowledge for at least one year in either Australia, the UK, Ireland, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Iceland, USA, New Zealand, South Africa or Canada.
