Please read this section as well as the other sections under \u201cDocuments\u201d and &#8220;Translations&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Applicants to the MediaAC programme.<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>must complete a first university degree<\/strong><br \/>\nThis should be at least a Bachelor degree issued by a university, quantified as three years of studies corresponding to 180 ECTS (<a href=\"http:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/education\/tools\/ects_en.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">information on ECTS<\/a>).<br \/>\nOr, if ECTS is not used in the country where first degree was acquired: proof of a successfully completed period of study at higher education level considered comparable with a Bachelor\u2019s degree. The decision on this will be made by the MediaAC Consortium.<\/li>\n<li><strong>show a strong motivation and interest<\/strong><br \/>\nto learn, work and build the future of the field of Media Arts and their Cultures.<\/li>\n<li><strong>have sufficient knowledge of English for academic purposes<\/strong> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mediaartscultures.eu\/mediaac\/application\/faq-english\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">(FAQ English test)<\/a><br \/>\nThis is to be proved by one of the following certificates:<br \/>\n(The following tests must be sent directly from the test centre &#8211; code\u00a08773\/Art History):<br \/>\n*TOEFL (PBT paper-based): 550 www.ets.org\/toefl<br \/>\n*TOEFL (CBT computer-based): 230 www.ets.org\/toefl<br \/>\n*TOEFL (iBT internet-based): 80-88 www.ets.org\/toefl<br \/>\n*Cambridge ESOL: C1 www.cambridgeenglish.org<br \/>\n(Original or verified copy is accepted):<br \/>\n*IELTS (academic test): 6.5 www.ielts.org<br \/>\n*Versant English Test: VEPT Score 56-60 (only with proof of studies with English as language of instruction &#8211; see <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mediaartscultures.eu\/mediaac\/application\/faq-english\/\">FAQ English Test<\/a>)<br \/>\nNote: We do NOT\u00a0accept scores from\u00a0&#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ets.org\/toefl_itp\/about\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">TOEFL ITP\/institutional testing programme<\/a>&#8220;, as this is something different than iBT, CBT or PBT.<br \/>\nPlease also note: An English language test certificate\u00a0may have expired if it was issued more than 2 years previous. We kindly advise you to check on your certificate.<\/li>\n<li>Other acceptable ways of indicating English language proficiency are:<br \/>\n* Proof of a bachelor&#8217;s degree or a master\u2019s degree delivered in English from a university in Australia, the UK, Ireland, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Iceland, USA, New Zealand, South Africa or Canada, excluding online degrees, with the applicant having stayed in the respective country when studying for the degree.<br \/>\n*Proof of more than one year of secondary education conducted in English language in either Australia, the UK, Ireland, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Iceland, USA, New Zealand, South Africa or Canada. Applicants may be required to interview in order to check English Proficiency demonstated above.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>&#8211; <strong>Work experience<\/strong> is not an admission requirement. However, work experience can be a strong advantage for an application, especially if it has been acquired working within the Media Arts field.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; <strong>Acceptance of your degree<\/strong> must be legally verified for enrolment. Please check to see whether an Apostille or Legal Documentation will be required for your degree.
