Information on Erasmus+\/Erasmus Mundus scholarships<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

The European Union granted MediaAC a significant number of scholarships available for incoming students to the Media Arts Cultures Master of Arts program. These scholarships are available to all prospective students,<\/strong> regardless of nationality, and are HIGHLY COMPETITIVE.<\/strong> <\/span>Only applicants who have submitted all the required documents will be eligible for consideration. The final decision lies with the EU commission on Education and Training based on a ranking submitted by the Media Arts Cultures Admission Board. The following amounts are awarded:<\/em><\/p>\n

Programme Countries<\/strong>\u00a0scholarship grantees receive <\/em>all <\/strong>participation fees<\/strong> paid<\/strong>, 1000 EUR per month stipend<\/strong> for the duration of the 24 month masters program and <\/em>1.000 EUR per year for\u00a0travel<\/strong> costs.<\/em><\/p>\n

Partner <\/strong>Countries<\/strong>\u00a0scholarship grantees receive <\/em>all <\/strong>participation fees<\/strong> paid<\/strong>, 1000 EUR per month stipend<\/strong> for the duration of the 24 month masters program and between 5<\/em>000 and 7000 EUR for travel & installment<\/strong>, depending on the distance to residence from the MediaAC coordinating university. (see below).<\/em><\/p>\n

Programme Countries List<\/strong><\/em>
\n The following countries, including the Overseas Countries and Territories of EU Member State countries, can fully take part in all Erasmus+ Actions:<\/em><\/p>\n

Member states of the European Union (EU): Belgium, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Denmark, Germany, Estonia, Ireland, Greece, Spain, France, Croatia, Italy, Cyprus, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Hungary, Malta, Netherlands, Austria, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia, Slovakia, Finland, Sweden, United Kingdom<\/em><\/p>\n

Non-EU programme countries: North Macedonia, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Turkey, Serbia. (currently the status of Switzerland is Partner Country)<\/em><\/p>\n

Partner Countries<\/strong> are all countries not included in the list of European Partner Coutnries above.<\/em><\/p>\n

\n

Programme Country travel allowances:<\/em><\/strong>
\n1000 EUR per year for travel costs.<\/em><\/p>\n

Partner Countries travel allowances:
\n<\/strong>5.000 EUR for travel costs + installation costs for scholarship holder resident of a Partner Country whose location is situated at less than 4.000 km from the MediaAC coordinating university.<\/em>
\n 7.000 EUR for travel costs +\u00a0 installation costs for scholarship holder resident of a Partner Country whose location is situated at 4.000 km or more from the MediaAC coordinating university.<\/em><\/p>\n

(Selected text from student agreement):
\nThe student participating in MediaAC as an Erasmus+ scholarship holder understands that for months in which the student is absent from the master programme, no matter if the student in advance or subsequently has asked for being granted this absence from the respective Consortium partner, the monthly allowance may not be paid to the student.<\/em><\/p>\n

All payments will be done by bank transfer to a European bank account. The student will provide the respective data (account number etc.) to the Coordinator at the beginning of studies.<\/em><\/p>\n

The student understands that possible tax obligations that may result from the scholarship, in Austria or in other countries the student is a resident of, are solely in the student\u2019s own responsibility and that the Coordinator and the other consortium partners of MediaAC cannot be made responsible for fulfilling such obligations.<\/em><\/p>\n
